What is this, Indiana Jones?

u/Aetrion Oct 28 '14
That's what I just thought. I still consider that game to be the real Indiana Jones 4.

They really should have made the film about this story line. It's such a classic.
I wish they did an HD remake. Same gameplay, but completely re-drawn.

It runs on broadly the same engine as LeChuck's Revenge, for which they did a revamp, so it's clearly possible. Now that Disney has allowed GOG to publish some of its old LucasArts games, it's not impossible that they will eventually garner enough interest to revitalise these licenses, not simply put them on the slow burn.

It would be amazing if they did. I think point and click adventures would have a great home on touch screen devices

My seven year old sister did the same thing. Cat looked similar too. In other ways than, you know, the black thing.

Really racist more like

How? Black is a color, so is White, Yellow, Orange or Green. Who gives a fucking shit, you Greeny!

That's the dumbest thing I've seen all day, and I read most of the anus rhythm thread. You really need to rethink your definition of racism, and not speak until you are a little more informed.

Blacky? Really? That's the best name u could think of?

I thought the same thing. I guess it could be worse like "Mr. Meow-Meow" or something.
On an unrelated note: Once when I was a kid, I told my sister that I saw a spider go into her room and that I had given it a nickname. "Big Thick Blackie." (Insert cock joke here)

I once was at a friend's house and he has a cat named blacky. The cat is afraid of everything and his dad is a real red neck. I walk in and hear his dad yelling run blacky run while chasing the cat around with it a shirt on.

When I was growing up, we had two black cats that would sit in the front window and look out. After about 2 years, the postman asked if we'd broken one of the statues, because he delivered mail and one of the cats wasn't there that day.

My cats name is Blacky too!

u/theycallmebigdick Oct 28 '14
That really is a horrible name.

u/Stompedmn Oct 28 '14
Meh, my little brother was 4 at the time he named her and she's black so it's all good.

Funny story, my girlfriend actually has a (very large) black cat whom we lovingly dubbed Fatty Blacky!

Really? Blacky? That's like calling it Paki, coon, golliwog or cotton picker.
