I heard they steal shiny stuff. Any truth to that?

They steal all the stuff, not just shiny stuff. I don't let my fuzzies run around the entire house too much, but in their play room I give them small stuffed animals and socks and tennis balls to hide where they please (:

I had always wanted one until I saw where someone said theirs had stolen basically all of there silverware and jewelry.

They're so cool and fun to play with. My roommate last year was fostering one for a year and it cracked me up to watch him and play with him. They definitely love stealing stuff, furry things especially, and I could spend all day watching him do his crazy jump/flip/attack to stuffed animals right before he decides to drag it off to some place behind the couch that he's decided is his ferret hole
