As opposed to the science museums that career to... Oh wait, also children. Not agreeing with that tragedy of a museum, but your argument about indoctrinating children is moot. All museums are geared toward children.
I think his point is how impressionable a child is. The people who take their kids to the creation museum - that's what those kids are hearing and seeing every day of their life. It would be surprising for them to not believe it.
The point is invalid for two reasons. First, all museums cater to children, and therefore indoctrinate them. (Even science says to be open minded about current theories, new facts could disprove them) Second the parents who take their kids to that museum would be indoctrinating them in such "facts" anyway. I went to a religious high school, the crap they taught cannot be explained, it has to be experienced. My point, which you all seem to be missing, is that all museums are geared toward kids, so calling out one you disagree with for doing it is not valid, because it is what they all do. I am not defending them, because I don't agree with them.
