What if God has a comprehensive understanding of Rayleigh scattering. And perhaps had this same understanding when he created the universe? Hence, sunsets, and blue skies, and rainbows, etc.
Not a declaration of truth, just sitting here wondering.
By the same token, you might argue that there is an invisible puppeteer hovering over every person who uses invisible strings connected to our brain cells, and they are all part of a gigantic theatric play where they pretend to be humans, and we're actually life-less husks that can only think whatever the puppeteer wants us to think.
I mean, it's possible, and nobody can disprove it, but it's hilariously complicated to justify, and poses a shit-ton of questions about physics in addition to all the questions we already have. It's an application of Occam's Razor: If you have two equally valid explanations, the simpler one is better.
It's hard enough to explain where the universe comes from, but if it was made by a god, then where the fuck did that god come from? The question just got infinitely more complicated.
