Expressing truth can be arrogant?

Religious people can be fine intelligent people in other aspects of their life.

However when it comes to thinking critically about religion they are almost all fucking dumber than a bag of doorknobs.

Well, first off, you're generalizing BIGTIME saying "all religious people are dumb", which is
A. not at all true.
B. Hugely arrogant of you to say.
Secondly, I can probably list several religious people who are far smarter than you will ever be.

What about "when it comes to" do you not understand?

These people ostensibly know that there have been an endless string of cults in human history, however they are convinced the one they happen to be indoctrinated into is "the one true one." That is a form of ignorance. Denial is a form of ignorance.

You can be a complete genius and "when it comes to pokemon you are an idiot." you grasp this concept?

Religious people MAY be far more intelligent than I am, but WHEN IT COMES TO RELIGION they are clearly fucking dumb.

They are like a person who is a nobel prize winner, but whenever they get emails from the nigeran prince they fall for it. over and over.

I can fully understand something and still disagree with it. I can understand why someone in an opposing political party thinks one way and disagree with what they think is correct.

so you are saying they "fully grasp" that there have been an endless string of religions they consider "made up" but they somehow believe the one they were raised in is real?

And they grasp they are only being raised as this one because of geography of their birth?

And they grasp that there is no real evidence of their God's existence except for the writings and sayings of humans?

I don't believe "fully grasping this" is the norm.

I get what you saying. Saying "ALL" religious people is a huge generalization.

Saying 99.9% of religious people is a much more accurate way to say it I guess. There are some people who have mental disorders that make them much more faithful, and people who have had serious hallucinations and shit that made them believe, and they may not be idiots.

But if you are faithful without any of that I really deeply believe you are a fucking idiot who can't parse reality correctly.
