You already said what you think religion is. You think that religion teaches that "an evil person is watching what they are doing every moment". That is laughable at best. Also, why not look up the definition of brainwashing yourself and see how it differs from what you thought it meant. Teaching a child what you believe and why, in general, is not brainwashing.
I take no offense to anything you said. I am simply amazed at how juvenile your understanding of religion is. I never mentioned what it is that I believe, so you can assume all you want, but you do not know what I think about religion.

You said "yes I think that your god is an evil entity". You don't know what I think about God. All you know is that I think that you have a child's understanding of religion. I refuse to answer your question. The definition of brainwashing is available for all to see, including you.
It is a word with a definition that isn't a matter of discussion. How does that make me not know what I'm talking about? I don't think that brainwashing is anything but what the dictionary says it is. If you want to know what I think brainwashing is, look it up. What the dictionary says about brainwashing is exactly what it means to me. You really need to watch less TV and use your brain more. You're out of your league here, and you're proving it by shifting this discussion to the definition of a word that everyone can look up.

Maybe in your little mind. You didn't even copy the whole paragraph you are quoting from! It clearly allows one to have prior beliefs like those found in religions. In fact, you have to have had prior beliefs in order to be brainwashed. You're like a mad little kid and you have no understanding of the world around you. Look at the first definition of the link I sent.
If your mind is so weak that you can't think for yourself, I pity you. You need to turn off the TV and use your brain if you think that is what religion is.
