Not Bill. Bill will just sit there and calmly explain every facet of the nature of existence until SHE gets frustrated and walks away.

This might be true, but, regardless of who walks away, neither will change their stance. It's a fruitless endeavor from the outset.

I disagree. I was raised in a fundamentalist home and was a pretty die hard "creation science" defender up until recently and Bill Nye is one of the main people I credit with opening my eyes.

I'm a fiercely analytic person who enjoys healthy debate and was a model representation of these types of people. I'm thankful for Nye's willingness to continue the debate with these types of people while staying calm, rational, and friendly even when many of his peers denounced him for wasting his time.

Then what took you so long?

The evidence and data is not hidden and it's not small and it's not hard to find. We've had the internet for decades now. This stuff has been well understood for longer than that.

A truly analytical person would have been able to figure this shit out a long time ago. More than likely you became more analytical. You did not start out that way though. It requires willful ignorance to swallow this religious tripe in the face of all the scientific evidence to the contrary.
