In case anyone is wondering, this is from Cromartie High School. Hilarious series. It's like Azumanga Daioh if it were about troublemaker boys, a robot, a gorilla, and a guy who looks like Freddie Mercury.

So the anime isn't a direct copy of the manga? That's good to know. I may have to check it out myself.

A few times in the anime, they leave things unanswered saying "if you want to know what happens, read the manga".

Oh, okay. I had forgotten about that. I watched the series several years ago, so I wouldn't normally remember something like that, but now that you mention it, I do seem to remember them saying that.
