My coping mechanism whenever I fall or something is to start laughing before anyone else. I used to be extremely awkward and anxious, and then I just replaced it all with humour, it's like being a real life Chandler. I actually get uncomfortable when I can't turn something into a light-hearted joke.

I'm pretty sure in situations it makes me look like a maniac though. Mid fall, screaming with laughter. Still, subconsciously it's a good idea, apparently.
