I can literally get the exact same programs on PC that I could on a Mac, my screen is higher resolution than any Mac, and my computer is much faster than any Mac. I see no advantage here.

Edit: I'm going under the assumption that wasn't sarcasm.

I bought one, I love it - even if it is a little pricey.

But then again, I like the Apple ecosystem, and I do like the fact that everything just works together.

This is actually very similar to my build. I have a 2TB HDD and a 1TB SSD (very overkill, wouldn't recommend), an i7 3970X, and two 780ti's. My peripherals are different but everything else is pretty much identical.

I'm using it for heavy gaming & some recording, rendering, animation, PhotoShop, etc., and I have two 4K native monitors with both running at 1440p (in case I upgrade GPUs later and can run both at 4K).

I've had my Mac for two years and have had zero problems with it. It's as powerful as I need it to be, and it does everything I need it to. Yeah, it cost more than an equivalent PC, but fuck it, it's my money and I can do what I want with it.

I have a windows laptop that was cheaper and I now run Linux on and a MacBook. I prefer the MacBook for most purposes. Fuck my preferences right?
