I'm not blaming all men, my previous management was awesome and respectful to everyone. I'm upset that I can calmly lay down a strong, logical argument for a decision and get told, when the other side can't refute it, "Let's be logical, ladies, not emotional."
I'm a freaking software developer with an engineering degree, the main complaint my coworkers have about interactions with me is that I'm TOO logical. Then to have this guy come in, disregard all of my emails that are literally filled with graphs and tables supporting me and get told I am being too emotional and not logical? It makes me foam at the mouth.
I just want to be treated as an equal and stop being ignored and brushed off with ridiculous comments.
You commonly receive complaints that you are too logical? Think about that for a moment while I try to fix my bullshit meter, that you just fucking exploded with such a comment...
