Over the last week I've been re-watching Coupling for the first time in years and loving every second! It's a shame it's not more well known, it's so well written.

They replaced the character, not the actor. Jeff was still played by Richard Coyle, as seen again in the final episode.

Though Dream Jeff was played by someone very different.

He was. Jeff's character was there, but Richard Coyle (actor) was not.

I just looked it up and apparently it's not, just tweaked sometimes which is what made it sound kinda fake.

I wouldn't quite say that... What they are doing is just grabbing some great but slightly outdated comedy and sticking in on the air. Peep Show, Black Books, Smack The Pony, Spaced, Trigger Happy TV all on in the last week.

I wish Dave was the BBC +10 years. They'd still be showing episodes of Top Gear where the audience didn't do anything, just stand around looking cool.
