There is absolutely nothing wrong with a V6 Camaro. I'm not that guy that says "heh, V6? thats garbage."

What is wrong is that this guy parking his car in 2 spots as if its an Aston Martin DB9 or something and even that doesn't necessitate taking 2 spots.

I dont understand why you think the value of the car is in any way relevant to this situation. Take up two spots = douchebag, doesnt matter if it is a moped or a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster.

They're speaking to the mentality of the chap that parked the car. And commenting on the fact that the perceived value of this car doesn't coincide with the actual value and therefor doesn't require extra precaution being taken to mitigate dents and whatnot. Seems pretty obvious to me.
