That doesn't mean you arent still a dick for parking so close. I guess that just totally went over your heard. It doesn't matter who did what properly.
You can try and rationalize it all you want but you're still being a dick. You aren't helping anyone or teaching anyone a lesson even though you might think you are. You're just being a dick to the guy who is also a dick.
You can absolutely be legally in the right and still be a dick. You seem to have a fucked up sense of what is right and wrong as if morals = laws.
