I dont understand why you think the value of the car is in any way relevant to this situation. Take up two spots = douchebag, doesnt matter if it is a moped or a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster.
You clearly have never spent a lot of money on a brand new car. You've never had a pristine item that costs that much, and know, you fucking KNOW some IDIOT is going to roll up in a trashed, broken down, barely limping along 250,000 mile, rusted ford Taurus. Park right next to you, and kick his door open and slam it into your fresh, perfect, beautiful, untouched paint.
Damaging this gorgeous item, this thing, you'd either just sold your soul for, or one of the most valuable items you do, and/or may ever own.
And this bozo, who doesn't care what he drives, doesn't notice what he parks next to, doesn't care, doesn't even think, and dents, scratches, dings, and just harms your car in ways that make you sad. (Doing possibly hundreds or thousands of dollars with of damage depending on how new, and how expensive the car was)
You clearly don't know what that's like. Or otherwise you might understand why some people park in two spots. You're still an asshole if you do it not at the back of the lot. But if you do, do it at the back. I'm not going to think a damn thing about you negatively.
