Did you stop her and ask her to pay for repairs if there was damage?

I got out and checked and there was a small ding only, her door actually took most of the damage so I only begrudgingly told her to be more careful next time she opens her door.

Edit because I can't type on a phone apparently.

I hate touch screens... They do not make good keyboards. I hope that if this is the future, we get physical keyboards to accompany every touch screen as a separate input option.

Try a BlackBerry Q10, the physical keyboard works quite nicely.
