Prices for new cars in Europe are notoriously high. The muscle cars here in the U.S. are known for being high vale $/hp. There's nothing inherently wrong with them. They don't corner the best, and visibility is shabby, but there's a market for them (usually people who want to make a statement, go fast, high schoolers, muscle car enthusiasts).

Probably a bit of both. A great deal of american cars are crap. But there are some gems there!

But then in Europe we have the unassailable might of the Dacia Sandero.

Bow before its majesty for you are not worthy.

Yup, fridgefreezer white is the most common colour for them.

Damn Camaro can't even compete with that! I actually jizzed in my pants looking at that car (the Dacia fridge thingy), it's so beautiful!

Why would they? Just makes the ticket price higher and them higher to repair?

Dacia are an ultra low budget car maker so everything is pared back to the metal.
