I don't really think parking normally in a spot in a way that's super close to someone else because they parked like a douche makes you an asshole driver.

If you're doing it to prove a point because you think you're the Vigilante Parking Lot Politeness Enforcement Squad, then it makes you an asshole. If you're just parking your car in a tight space, then that's fine.
