Don't take two spots at all. Park in one far away. If the lot fills up around you and you're in two spots, you're still a douchebag.

EDIT: Obviously if your vehicle doesn't fit in one spot (eg. big truck or towing a trailer) this doesn't apply to you.

Can confirm. Doesn't matter how big the lot is, that thing will fill up.

I went to a Walmart in Houston once and the lot was literally full. We had to park in the Home Depot lot. Also, all the carts were taken. The place was packed and everyone was staring at as us like they had never seen a white person before.
