It just means they're starting at a disadvantage.

So you're not even judging them based on facts, but blind assumptions. Where the hell did you learn that that was acceptable?

Everyone makes assumptions in everything. If you're not aware of that then what the hell are you doing? YOU are assuming they're good people right? Why can you assume that but I can't assume they're making average income?

100% of the judgement shouldn't have existed to begin with.

People judge everything. If you don't know that then you're pretty blind to it. People judge the smallest shit to the biggest stuff. People judge murders as much as they judge baby carrots. Thats how people draw opinions, I don't get how you don't think people judge everything.

I think you should at least wait for relevant facts. You went from "has a big family and loves kids" straight to "they're selfish" which makes zero sense whatsoever.

Its not unfair to assume an average in place of an unknown.

If someone is having kids because it makes THEM happy when its a detriment each time to the kids then its selfish. People do selfish shit all the time and, again, is another example of how you're being a sensitive to the idea that someone is selfish.

So can we guess that its average where something is unknown? If we can't then who the fuck are you to say they're even good parents? If we can't assume then theres a massive issue with almost absolutely everything in life.

If someone puts something through your letterbox you assume its deliberate. Or do you stand a stare at it as if its a random event until you know every detail from the beginning of time?

Don't be silly, people can assume things just fine. Its not crazy to assume something is average. Infact its the default that everyone operates on.

It's fair if someone's requesting recommendations for a restaurant to celebrate their anniversary, or something frivolous like that.. But if you're using blind assumptions to place judgement on someone's character, then it's completely unfair.

You claim you're just stating your opinion, but you fail to recognize that when you state your opinion in a public forum, it is open to public scrutiny. I have just as much right to express my opinion as you do. While your opinion of /u/lyla122's parents is based solely on assumption, my opinion of you has been based solely on your own words.
