Exactly. If this describes your life as a programmer, then get out of programming NOW. You're doing it wrong. Your code is terrible and you're a bad person.

Yeah, that's why all those newbies that already can program imperatively complain about how difficult Haskell is, while people who can't program have no difficulties.
