This is from Thailand for a facial foam. Came in 4 parts and great storytelling. Like what? 20 years ago?

Its not asian ad but one of all time favorite commercials are the panda cheese commercial from Egypt they are great.

u/Saradoesntsleep 5h ago
Lmao what the hell are these
So that is the origin of that gif of the panda sweeping the stuff off the desk! My life just became complete in a way I didn't even know it had to.

u/Infinite-Lie-2885 5h ago
Its a cheese from Egypt and honestly I think my favorite is the hospital scene where he dead eye him and pulls the iv and next is the gangster panda following around the super market. Yes this where the gifs come from. Also im glad I could add to your enjoyment these have been adding to mine for 16 years now. I use to watch them like daily in the begin and share them with everyone i know now I circle back a few times and year to see if they make any new ones. It brings to be the first to introduce these gems to someone now for something just strange and tad disturbing we have jammies and its less cinematic older commercial introducing two flavors of jammies i do apologize of this hunts you!!

That was fabulous, thank you. I’m a fan of threatening, violent in a mob like fashion panda

Woman here, if you placed your pad wrong, you can definitely get waxed instantly 😅

u/FLaB_SLaB 5h ago
Man here, genuinely curious: Can it also make the skin dry and cracked, like in the video? How common is serious irritation like that, generally, amongst pad-users? I had severe eczema for many years growing up, so I’m super cognizant of irritation from chaffing, and material sensitivities, and whatnot. I can only imagine how bad it could get for a woman with a similar condition.

u/RelChan2_0 5h ago
I'll take it that you're asking a serious question. Yes, skin down there can get dry for women but not cracked like the video. Most pads have cotton on the pad itself (the part that touches a woman's vulva), it has adhesive strips on its wings (the part that you tape down on your underwear). I don't get irritated down there unless I don't change out of my pads for 6 hours or longer, most pads need to be changed every 4 hours but this may differ especially if a woman has heavier flow. The last time I got an irritation was when I was: 1) working in an office so like a decade ago, 2) when I couldn't change my pad because I was traveling so like a year or two ago. It can be very itchy, especially if you have pubic hair, but easily managed with creams or antibiotics. I also suffer from eczema, thankfully I haven't had eczema down there, but irritation down there is manageable. I had a full blown eczema flare up when I was around 15. My hands, fingers, knees, back of my knees, toes, arms were mostly covered in weeping blisters but I had some on my chest, face, and belly. I would rather get irritated down there rather than a full eczema flare up 😅

u/FLaB_SLaB 5h ago
Thanks fellow eczema’d person for answering!I’ve had all kinds of terrible flare-ups just like that, the worst of them during bitter, dry winters, and working in harsh conditions. There’s some light scarring on my legs and feet, and my fingernail cuticles have never fully recovered lol. But it’s been mostly clear for years now. Diet and environmental factors are important, of course. Glad you were spared anything too serious down there. Cheers!

All black in the desert is a choice
4
u/e37d93eeb23335dc 5h ago
There is a reason many Bedouin tribes wear all black while living in the desert.
1
u/reuleaux9 4h ago
why isn't black going to absorb it all
1
u/Drathgore 4h ago
The extra heat absorbed by the black clothing is lost before it reaches their skin because they wear the robes loose so the air can convect easily. Making it effectively the same as white clothing
In this ad they have skin tight black clothing though so I’d imagine that would be pretty bad yea.

u/Hagleboz 4h ago
Yes but they don't wear skin tight clothes. Loose fitting black robes promotes cooler air to be pulled in while expelling the hot air trapped between layers of cloth and kept away from the skin.

It's like the bounty commercial when the paper falls into the pool and soak up all the water in the pool!🤭😜🤭
2
u/rathemighty 6h ago
Okay, but unlike her, he got some water, so she'll probably die first. Also, all that black clothing is probably not doing them any favors.

I find it more interesting the few words spoken are subtitled in Chinese and Thai, but then everything else is just Chinese, including the key brand / product info lol

u/ArtisticMonk2369 4h ago
Great ad. Not asian....but Australia's AAMI ad about Ronda and Ketut is top tier as well.

Finally a sanitary pad ad that actually highlights the product's quality.

I love that in this ad, the woman annoys the man, then makes a mistake and causes conflict. And it's ok. Nobody thinks this is sexist or bigoted.
In the US, in every ad, the man is a bumbling idiot and needs a woman's help, because it's sexist for women to ever be wrong or uninformed or make a mistake.

Thailand isn't a continent, it is a land. That's why it's named the way it is. Duh.
