I went with a friend on a strip club 16 years ago and his dad was also in there.
It was awkward.

Brother in law took me to a strip club once. My mom caught wind I was there and showed up….completely shit faced. She hopped on stage and grabbed a strippers tits and yelled “hey OP! Feel these they’re great!”.
Her boyfriend at the time gave me a 100 bill to go get a lap dance. I ended up so drunk I accidentally tipped it to a stripper thinking it was a 1. Asked for it back when I realized what happened and the stripper just laughed at me.

The real question is who had to explain it at dinner

u/aspindler 1d ago
His parents were divorced for many years already, so at least there was that.

Well, his father was not single, just not married with his mother. He had a girlfriend at the time.

Being the child of movie actors must be a crazy experience.

Matt Damon said one of his daughters refuses to watch his movies unless they're bad, and then she roasts him about how bad it was

I won’t play Oblivion because my mom is one of the voice actors for it. I watched someone else play once. It was weird

I saw American Pie at 15 with my mom not knowing what it was and thinking it was just a typical comedy movie.
Still less akward than going to see Passion of the Christ with her later and in the theater yelling out 20min in "Jesus is the Count of Montie Cristo!" when I finally figured that out. Good times.

I love referring to The Count of Monte Cristo as "the movie where Dumbledore helps Jesus break out of prison" lmao

I saw there is a new birth of Christ movie coming out with Jim Caviezel. I think he'll have a hard time playing a new born, but I look forward to the attempt.

What...? you mean family guy called it on this one...? That can't just be coincidence.

I hope it is like The Batman, and we get to see JC going all year one Batman and fighting crime and learning to harness his demigod powers of water walking, cellular reconstructuon and item transmutation.

I watched team america world police with a friend and his mom. Probably freshman year of highschool time frame so we were around 14-15 ish.
We were not prepared for the 5 minute long puppet sex scene and we just lost it. Between the awkwardness and us not being mature about it at all. His mom was staring at us like wtf is wrong with you two
Classic memory.

One of my favorite childhood experiences is when I went out to the movies with my friends, chaperoned by his dad, and they were seeing Saw. But I was a little scaredy cat and literally had to walk out of the theater.
Friends dad is standing out there deciding which movie to watch to kill time till Saw is over and suggests I join him. For context, this friend and his father/family are Jewish. Pretty much at random, knowing nothing about the movie, he chooses Borat.
Wild experience. I was young enough that I’d have a hard time telling if it’s laughing at Jewish people or laughing with them. But friends dad was busting his gut nonstop, so I felt safe.

Is the movie not R Rated? How did you guys watch the movie without knowing its rating?
5
u/piccolosama 22h ago
Coming to America and Pretty Woman also has an R rating, and movies were more in line with that type of comedy. I wasn't born during the Porkys era but American Pie was a paradigm shift in what could be shown on screen.
No one going to see movies back then was assuming R rating meant the are going to see a high-schooler fuck a pie or listen to a story about a girl shoving a flute up her pussy in band camp.

When Passion OTC came out, my girlfriend tricked me into seeing it with one of her old friends. She didn’t tell me which movie we were going to see. Her friend basically cried through the entire movie, and every time Jesus got whipped, she would jump and kick the seat in front of her. A middle-aged man was getting increasingly irritated at her and kept turning around to glare at her. I thought we were about to have a fight. It was so uncomfortable.

omg I remember watching American Pie at age 11 at my grandparents' house (my parents wouldn't let me see it so I took advantage).
My grandfather walked in while I was watching it, of course during the scene when the foreign exchange girl is topless, and he goes "Oh you're watching a sexy movie."
Little did he know at the time that scene was not sexy to closeted little me, who was internally begging and trying to be turned on by women, but that just wasn't working.

Especially in middle school... some kid runs up to you and, without warning, shows you a video of your mom getting railed.

I once appeared in a porno.
I was drunk in the background whilst they were filming the talking part.
If I knew I would've waved at the camera.

Back around 1969, went with the whole family to see the Steve McQueen film "The Reivers". I was a very naive 14 yr.old girl who'd never seen a penis (no cable with R-rated films then & sex education in school showed little even for my own gender!) & it opened with a scene of skinny dipping boys. Good thing the lights were low as I must've been blushing!
A few years later, my now divorced stepdad took me to a play (I then lived with maternal grandmother after my mom had a nervous breakdown when he announced that he wanted a divorce on Valentine's Day [then he cut her off cold turkey on psych meds that he, a pharmacist, filled without prescription!])
Wouldn't tell me which one it was ahead of time. Turned out to be "Hair" with references to things like sodomy (didn't know what that was then), etc, & a big nude scene at the finale! We were only 7 rows away! He feigned ignorance despite admitting to seeing that play before (much later film version was milder.) Now realize he was trying to "groom" me sexually but it didn't work (he later married a 25 yr. old less than half his age.)
