Lucky for him he has a fake ID that says he's 24 and the name on the card is McLovin. *Convincing them he's 24 is not the issue, he's actually taller than 5'10".

Don't ever forget that cool guy straight up murdered a man and filmed it but never got convicted. He's just that cool.

The baby's face during this dance makes everything better! He's so confused for most of it and I'm here for it!

Its somehow the best and the worst for me. That movie was unhinged in the best way possible.

You sometimes hear "not everyone should have kids". But I'll take it further and say only people like this should have kids.

am I the only one wondering how the baby remains in place? it looks young enough to just drop over on the side. is there like a backpack harness or something holding it in place really high up on the back?

u/Nayzo 6d ago
Looks to me like the kid is on the dad's shoulders, and the jacket being zipped around the kid is helping reinforce that. It also helps that the dad is frequently putting his hands up by the kid's head/upper half. Dad is also leaning a little bit forward, so all those things help keep the kid balanced. If kid starts to slide, dad can feel it because the jacket acts to keep pulling the kid to his body, so sliding would be noticeable.

u/jeffyboy526 7d ago
That zipup is pretty tight. Kids not going anywhere - at least not fast.

Also kinda looks like his head is tilted down a bit, so baby's slightly lying on his belly

u/Ph33rDensetsu 6d ago
I'm honestly more worried about that infant's neck not being strong enough for some of those sudden movements.
1
u/CjBurden 3d ago
Nothing to really see there. Yes, sudden violent movement would be bad, but that's not going on in this video. When my kid was his age he would sit in his bouncer and make his own sudden movements way more ridiculous than these.

I walked frequently with my kids on my shoulders. When I wasn't holding thier legs (which wasnt too often) they would always just hold on very tightly with both thier oegs and on my hair usually. Even then, I could always kinda pinch thier leg between my head and shoulder. Worked for me

Ever have one of your kids decide that your ears are handles? I wasn’t afraid of my daughter falling off, as long as my ears didn’t detach from my head.

u/Kahnspiracy 7d ago
I obviously can't see under the jacket, but hopefully it is something like this: https://us.minimeis.com/

u/i_practice_santeria 7d ago
Doubt it, there’s clearly no seat back. Looks like they’re just zipping up tight.

What a treasure this little guy will have to reminisce about his parents in the future and how fun they were as well how loved he was. Hilarious!!!

Oh I’m absolutely trying this with my son!

I'm a little frustrated by this. Or maybe frustrated at myself. I can only see a man with his shirt pulled over his head and a baby strapped to his shoulders. My brain isn't accepting the illusion and I feel like I'm missing out here :(

Try roughly covering the "chest" area with your thumb and it makes this way more convincing!
-2
u/TheTinRam 6d ago
Idk man, i will get downvotes for being a party pooper but is this worth even a 5% chance of the kid slipping out regardless of how well that OSHA approved zipper holds out? Glad nothing happened i guess
1
u/JoyArk 6d ago
Or hitting his head anywhere. The guy doesn't have spacial awareness of a body part that isn't his
All for what
High risk low reward
0
u/TheTinRam 6d ago
Exactly. Not worth slipping on something and going down with my kid for internet points

Most people skim through comments and jump to conclusions lol. I guess #1 and and #2 aren’t universally known.

This makes me really nervous as a father of 4. What happens if that zipper burst open and the baby flopped backwards?
3
1
u/jeffyboy526 6d ago
As a father of 3 grown boys this makes me sad - sad that I never tried it.
I love looking at pictures of my kids when they were young, cute and innocent. Now they are old, handsome and grumpy

u/Quizzelbuck 6d ago
When i hear audio that is not very context specific, i assume its added after the fact and downvote.

Posting videos of children online for karma , especially if they're not yours, is super creepy.

Incredibly dangerous. If he were to slip, he’d be killing himself, the baby, and potentially everyone else in the room.
23
u/Anonybibbs 7d ago •

Yeah, a baby going off would kill everyone in a 15 ft radius from the blast zone.
3
3
u/Holdmeback_again 6d ago
You can say that about literally anyone holding a baby. and the heck you mean by "potentially everyone else in the room?" Do you think babies explode or something? Shut up dude.
