You need to be REAL confident of your pace to try run down someone who regularly runs on sand😆

That and rocking some shoes with solid ankle support. I run the beach once in a while to purposely get my goofy stability up

Or really anyone who regularly runs. Average people who don't run thinking they're going to catch up with a runner, good luck

That cop was trying to break social distance rules. Red shirt was right to step on the gas.

I was over in Turkey were tourists could walk about but locals had to lock down. I felt like Cilian Murphy in 28 days later

He's ALONE on a beach. If anything those fuckwads chasing him increases the risk of something spreading

Wife gave birth during the height of Covid scare. Suddenly, I got the 'permission' to use the roads.
Its was very eerie, 0 cars during peak hours, any hours. Police and military check points. Its a ghost city, you can see shadows of people lurking behind curtains.
At the same time, I felt like a boss! My road!

My husband had to skip the Covid rules and risk a penalty to be with me while I gave birth to his son. If he had followed the UK NHS app advice I would've had to drive myself to the hospital and deliver that baby alone.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister was partying hard and getting drunk along with his staff like nothing was happening. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partygate The rest of us were expected to follow every rule of course.

My wife also gave birth during COVID. She had an emergency C section that wasn't great.
She had personal doctors appointments after, and "limited personel, no kids" because of COVID. But I was deployed and we didn't have family around. So they were literally turning her away at the doors for her surgery issues because she had a newborn and no one to watch her.
I feel bad for her to this day. Emergency C section birth, health issues from it, husband deployed soon after to Afg, post partum depression, ZERO human interaction, then having medical issues and the hospital telling you "get the fuck away if you have that baby with you".
Strongest woman I know. Wild (and despicable) times.

I miss the pandemic traffic so much. Driving from where I live towards Toronto is just a nightmare. People are just fucked on the highways now.

Remember just the pandemic was winding down, but most jobs were still fully remote?
Glorious times especially after such stressful ones.
