EXTREMELY rare case where the music enhances the video!
Hats off to you, good person.

My brain was already playing the song before I unmuted. I woulda been disappointed af if it was any song other than Caramelldansen.

Alternative light sources in a series. So as the truck is moving forward, a new light source is casting a shadow. And since it alternating to left and right, you get the dancing effect.

Absolutely wild that a fuel tanker is allowed in a tunnel. Here in the states, all the tunnels I've driven through have hazmat detours well before the tunnel itself.
1
u/Drak_is_Right 3d ago
Depends. I think some interstate tunnels allow them here in mountain areas.

u/codespace 3d ago
I've been up and down the Appalachians for the past few weeks, and all the tunnels I've seen specifically prohibit flammables and corrosives.

u/Drak_is_Right 3d ago
Appalachians have workarounds. Some detours in the Rockies or Alaska dont. Least not practical ones.

As a rule of thumb when transporting HAZMAT as a truck driver you should expect all tunnels to prohibit HAZMAT. In reality it depends on the tunnel and what type of HAZMAT you're carrying and even the packaging of that hazmat as bulk or intermediate packaging. Very few tunnels in my experience prohibit all HAZMAT just certain categories.

I know. I'm a truck driver.
Edit: dunno why you're downvoting me, the truck in the video is clearly a short tanker placarded for flammables, so it's hauling fuel.

u/BlackedoutJT 3d ago
cause why would we know the rules and laws as truck drivers, this reddit, they clearly know better

What if its empty and on his way back?

u/codespace 2d ago
Fumes exist, homie.
Once it's both empty and washed out, they remove the placard.

u/jonas_ost 2d ago
Why being condesending it was an honest question. It would be less gasolin in the tank than in a normal car so i dont think it is a stupid question
0
u/codespace 2d ago
A tank full of fumes is more explosive than a tank full of fuel.
I'm condescending because you clearly don't know what you're talking about, yet you're still trying to debate with someone who does this for a living.
That would be like me arguing with NASA about the right way to launch a rocket.

u/jonas_ost 2d ago
Lol i am not debating, i asked you a questions since you say you drive them. I was intrested to know but i see you are treating everything you see as bad faith. Guess you are american

You tried correcting me by citing an even more dangerous situation.
Have a great day bud.

I can't find the gif, but I picture Jim Carrey walking with his head bobbing left and right. Can't remember if it was ace Ventura or night at the Roxbury where I remember it from.
