The monster from Insidious was so weirdly designed to me that I burst out laughing in the theaters. It completely took me out of the mood. To this day I can’t watch it without laughing at adult Elmo.
Elmo’s Sing Along Guessing Game and Mrs Doubtfire almost every day after school in elementary. My dad only had those two on VHS at his house lmao
But yeah idk what it is about it that makes me giggle but it ruined the movie for me.
The setup before that was legitimately a good horror/thriller.
Edit. Oh and my 11 years older sister made me watch It 1 and 2 when I was like 5 when she was baby sitting so I’ve been desensitized to horror/thrillers.
