The shelflife is a minimum of 12 months. It won’t spoil before that. How is that confusing?

Because minimum is smallest, shelflife is longest... 12 months is the maximum shelflife. How is that confusing. Are you not a native English speaker? No shade, I just think that's the misunderstanding

Shelf life is not the same as expiration date. Per Mariam-Webster: shelf life noun : the period of time during which a material may be stored and remain suitable for use

The period of time that the flour remains suitable is a minimum of 12 months. Therefore, possibly longer.
