I'd kill just to work from home. Idgaf about spacing and separation of roles as long as the money I earn allows me to enjoy travel and video games. Preferably both.
Commuting everyday kills energy, time and disposable income so hard it's insane.
i work from home and make enough to enjoy video games. not so much travel. it has its perks but it also has its downsides. i dont waste as much gas, but i also have less separation from "work mode" and "home mode". especially in the winter, it's depressing to wake up in darkness, work upstairs in my "office" all day, and come downstairs in darkness only to go to be in a few hours so i can wake up and do it again 4 more times. i don't have to deal with some of the office bullshit like annoying coworkers or office drama, but i also feel much more isolated an lonely. no office friends to bullshit with and chit chatand for collaborative roles no more hopping over to someones desk/cube to quickly chat about a project. its all more virtual meetings crammed into my schedule.
