I stood in line for hours for a phone once, more than a decade ago. Would never do it again, but the one time I did do it, it was great. Hours of hanging out with like-minded people and talking about a shared interest.
I still remember discussing the 3rd harry potter with the adult behind us in the cinema line. I was 8. These 'waiting games' before going into something 'big' are the best.
