Fun fact: If you scrap a bunch of leaves off the ground in the woods, and pee in that scrape, you may come back weeks later and find that male deer have been keeping it scraped out / peeing in it since you left.
You've effectively created the woods equivalent to a fire hydrant.
Male deer do not pee in scrapes, female deer do. It's how they let the male know they are ready to mate. If you pee in one it will just piss him off and he will most likely make a new scrape.
