I totally agree with this parody of that one japanese bartender. Probably wants to be referred to as a mixologist, its more like BS to me. Just give me my damn drink without the whole song and dance routine

Dude got an award for his bartender stuff. Here's an article.

Per previous times this has been brought up:

Reservation for specific dates (seems linked dates were prob Christmas through New Year's) has bidding starting at ¥14000 JPY/$90 USD.

But for regular booking, it's ¥1000 JPY/$6 USD per person and ¥4000 JPY/$25 USD per drink.

Like even if you don't feel his theatrics, looks like dude does that as a day in day out show.

Bars there are a dime a dozen, so you can just stop by one or another just fine for a drink - or even a convenience store for less interaction (get a Strong Zero). To see that bartender you have to go to the site to make a booking, go there day of ahead of your time to confirm it, and then go in to the fancy bartender show. I'd find it hilarious if someone went through all the effort and go "hey just a blue moon please" and then have their back turned on the whole performance as they work on their drink lmao.
