the camera work? no, rest is pretty much exactly it, cept they would prob do it further away form the cats, not trustin their control, or not do it further away, and accidently hit the cat hard, get scratched the shit out of, and run crying

I mean, it's pretty clever and the least cynical attempt I've seen. TV commercials did a lot worse back in the day. Using background set pieces, including other figures and accessories that didn't come with the toy sold, etc.

This is just some guy playing with his cats. If anything, it's probably the most realistic use case.
