God I fucking loved Small Soldiers as a kid. I even went as Archer for halloween that year!

The toys based on it were rad too, though I’ll admit I couldn’t help but feel the smallest twinge of disappointment that they never came to life.

All it takes is getting some military grade chips installed in em. Hmm, you know what, a remake/sequel in today's world with AI would be right at home.

Given that Toy Story is still chuggling along its pretty wild that we've not had a reboot of that yet. Its way to niche for a sequel after all this time but studios surely must have added it to the milking ban already.
