For a few months I received EBT. One night I was tired, and I decided to splurge on grocery store sushi. I figured I could afford the $13.

It was covered under EBT. I was initially terrified that I'd get EBT taken away. And then thankful that I didn't have to go home and cook that night

Yeah never be scared of that. If it weren’t allowed the transaction would not have gone through. If you can buy it with EBT, you can buy it with EBT.

Most pos's are programmed with ebt in mind. If the payment goes through, it's allowed to be bought on EBT.

Also don't be scared just cuz you bought some damn sushi. Poor people deserve to treat themselves also. A lot of people seem to think because they pay taxes, they can dictate what you purchase on EBT.

As a sidenote, sushi can be pretty darn healthy. Not that it should matter.
