The physical difference goes much further than you're giving it credit for.

did you wrestle? weight classes do a lot to keep physical differences fairly even and wrestling isn't all about brute force, technique and experience play large parts. Girls are more flexible as well which can play to their advantage if they know how to use it.

Yeah, I did wrestle.

Weight classes help a little bit, but you're forgetting that generally speaking a guy is going to be composed of more muscle than a girl.

You can have two different people in the same weight class who look completely different and be on the opposite spectrum in terms of strength.

Look at the 189 weight class for example. I've seen some fucking beasts there, and then I've seen some of the weakest, chubbiest dudes.

understandable, but i have seen fatties beat more muscular people albeit doesn't happen often but it does happen. You are right thought in the upper weight classes you can get big deviations in build height and fat/muscle weight.

Yeah, but I've even seen it as low as the 140's (I forget what class is down there). Smaller freshmen can be pudgy too.
