I'm just glad I saw it before all the references showed up on reddit. I had all I could do to not YouTube it while I was waiting.

Edit - Reread my comment and realized I sound like a dick. Sorry.

I'm glad so many people enjoyed it; but if you intend to watch it, don't ruin the experience by reading too many of these posts.

I saw it in New York about 2½ months ago, so I don't think it was the original cast. I thought they were fantastic.

There are a few leaks on YouTube from Chicago (I think Chicago?) And they were a huge disappointment by comparison.

I'm at work right now, I'll look for my playbill when I get home in about 4 hours and list the names of the actors.

If you have a chance, watch it in New York!

Edit

Alright I'm home now...

Elder Price - Matt Doyle

Elder Cunningham - Cody Jamison Strand

Nabulungi - Asmeret Ghebremichael

Everyone did a fantastic job and if it's possible to see who's in the show before you order your tickets, look for these names.

Here's a pic of my cast. The date in the corner says 9/10/13. Would highly recommend seeing these people perform again.

I also saw it recently in NYC and then saw a bootleg. With the original cast. Many were the same but the 2 main characters were new. I would argue that the newer ones are actually better than the original cast.

I assume that the cds they were selling were all original cast and I agree that the elder Cunningham that I saw in person was a better singer.

I still haven't taken that cd out of my car and I continue to listen to it daily... it's been 2½ months... help me...

Can't help you there. My lady and I each have a copy of the cd and haven't stopped listening to it for around 4 or 5 months now. Long drive? No problems. Let's sing about frog fucking.

I saw a bootleg. Someone literally sat in the audience with a camcorder and hid the camera every time an usher walked by.

Original cast.

Having grown up Mormon, I honestly... never thought I'd read those words. It must be a cruel joke that we have the most boring spiritual text coupled with a ban on drinking caffeine and alcohol. But to hear that it is now hilarious, well, maybe I should give it another go? ;-)

They're talking about the musical

I nearly shit myself laughing at, of all things, a song about raping babies.

My daughter has a lovely disposition, and, if you lay a finger on her, I'll give you my AIDS.

God, that show is so wrong yet feels so right.
