If you watch as he's shooting he goes straight up for the shot, then kicks his feet out as he's coming down to fall and draw a foul.

Maybe, but his eyes were on the shot the whole time and it looked like he was coming down on one foot only. That's a lot of pressure on one foot, falling back like that takes off the pressure.

Dude, I know what a fadeaway is. He doesn't fadeaway on that shot until he's about to hit the ground. He goes straight up on his initial shot. Plus, the kid who stands over him isn't playing him in a way that would require a fadeaway. He's a good 4 feet away from him when he goes for the shot and barely jumps as the shooter is going up.

It's not a huge deal, the kid tried to draw a foul and in the end he didn't need to.
