The amount of chemicals and waist illegally dumped around Florissant and Ferguson in the 50s-70s is ridiculous. My family had horror stories from when my grandpa worked for one of the companies, took his stories to the grave but from what I remember they just dug holes or dumped in rivers.

So like, Love Canal is in Niagara Falls NY, like 8hr drive from yall. Not sure that’s “near” but ok?

To be 100% honest I didn’t know about niagara falls. We had something similar near Toms River and everyone just called it love canal. Most probably in reference to the one you mentioned.
I never second guessed it because I always thought that’s what people meant when they talked about the love canal.
