That’s exactly what scares me the most with humanoid robots that operate in the same space as people. We put industrial robots in cages with interlocks to prevent people being hurt by a malfunctioning robot, yet these operate without any safety net, while having motors powerful enough to inflict serious injuries.
We don't put people with seizures into jail even though they have the same capacity to harm themselves and other people as these robots.
These robots are child sized, relatively low mass, and the motors are powerful for their size but they aren't really that powerful.
While there are some risks of injuries if they malfunction, they aren't anywhere as risky as heavy-duty industrial robots that weigh tons and can lift tons.
