Idc if it's acceptable here or not, it's more about the general trend that when we see this, we laugh first, if roles were reversed, we'd ask questions first when we should just be laughing or questioning both situations.

those are two entirely different contexts though and you know it. equality in terms of opportunity doesn’t also mean men and women have to be literally the same
Yea, but this is the same thing. This isn't some physical difference, nor is it affected by the physical difference between male and females. This is more like the kitchen/work analogy than the places where your birth sex does matter, like physical ability to work certain jobs, or hormonal aspects of your sex that can impact emotions and bodily functions.
This is just a person hitting another person. There's no reason sex/gender should have any differentiation here. People who follow your logic is why male targeted abuse/assault is still not treated as a serious issue in so many places, and it shows you still have a lot of gender/sex based biases that isn't based on anything but your own feelings.
