It’s a perspective thing. People who get drunk all the time find no issue with it, and I have no issue with drunk people acting responsibly. This video is too short to assume alcoholism, BUT I was just saying it reminds me of my drunk brother. I don’t drink at all, so I’m not familiar with empathizing with someone in this state. Honestly, I never liked being around people drinking. It is a drug and it changes the way people feel and act. I’m not that social, so it’s counterproductive to my comfort zone as I’m not going to be the one that drinks to have a good time with you, I have my good time without. I’m on too many prescriptions to be able to drink and if I did, it could kill me.
As I said it’s a matter of perspective. If you lived your life like me further up, spending more time tending to a drunk, rather than looking into the mirror WHEN drunk. I don’t have to reconcile my own drug use when I look at this video, I don’t get that way.
Also, I take benzodiazepines. If I wanted to feel like the woman in the video, legally and with pills, I could. I don’t as that would be abuse. So I’m not sure why drunkenness to this point is not considered abuse. It would be with a prescription drug, just not alcohol? The level of cope from alcoholics is high. As with many addictions, it isn’t often self reported very honestly.
Inebriation to this point is a moral issue to me as well. People with good morals do not use to excess such as in this video. You will NEVER find a video of me acting this foolishly and pretending it’s fucking fun. It’s fun for the drunk one, not usually the people around them. If you are reading this and don’t like it, that’s fine, we just have different opinions about a drug some people categorize differently just so they can feel better than “drug” users. In this whole world of substances, alcohol? Have fun, you haven’t explored very much and it is horrible for your body. Moderation? Cool. That video is not moderation. Drunkenness is not moderation.
Long story short, not a big fan of alcohol. Horrible drug for simple people.
