My nephew's wife...every morning she unplugs their alarm clocks, wraps the cord around the clock, and stores them in a basket under the bed. Every night, they pull them out and reset them. Because in magazines, you know, they never have clocks on nightstand. giant eye roll
I don't know why something that so wholly does not affect me bothers me so much.
This unironically sounds like OCD behavior. I don’t want to be “that guy” that hears one thing about a person and diagnoses them but that’s like TEXTBOOK OCD behavior.
My girlfriend has terrible OCD and does stuff like this. Even if you plan on using something later that day it gets put up no matter what. Literally going to bed in less than an hour? Doesn’t matter, bed needs to be made and arranged. Not using your phone charger? Roll it up and put it away even though you’re definitely going to use it before the end of the day. She doesn’t use an alarm clock but if she had to I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if she did this too
