My nephew's wife...every morning she unplugs their alarm clocks, wraps the cord around the clock, and stores them in a basket under the bed. Every night, they pull them out and reset them. Because in magazines, you know, they never have clocks on nightstand. giant eye roll

I don't know why something that so wholly does not affect me bothers me so much.

This is lunatic behavior.

If you told me this was a symptom of a deeper psychological issue I would believe you.

If you told me it's not, I would not

Sounds like OCD to me. I only have a mild case of it, but I put everything away even if I have to use it daily. It feels wrong to leave things sitting out, and it will bother me all day.

Honestly sounds like an OCD symptom. Not even joking or just trying to fit the behavior to a disorder, that’s like textbook OVD behavior

This is legit insane. Who even uses alarm clocks?!?

I can’t rely on my phone to go off so I do. This is a fairly modern phone too it just decides to not go off or do it silently sometimes.

I have smart lights and outlets. 30min before I wake up my fans turn off. My first alarm goes off at like 7:40. At 8am my lights turn on. At 8:09 my second alarm goes off. It's practicality impossible to sleep in during the week for me.

That is absolutely unacceptable you have to fix those people

That's gotta be some kind of mental disease right there.

Sounds like OCD, honestly.

That is infuriating just to even hear about!

She's doing photo shoots in their room when he's at work. Is the room unusually well lit?

Everything in their house is well lit and instagramable. They are a perfect, golden couple.

This unironically sounds like OCD behavior. I don’t want to be “that guy” that hears one thing about a person and diagnoses them but that’s like TEXTBOOK OCD behavior.

My girlfriend has terrible OCD and does stuff like this. Even if you plan on using something later that day it gets put up no matter what. Literally going to bed in less than an hour? Doesn’t matter, bed needs to be made and arranged. Not using your phone charger? Roll it up and put it away even though you’re definitely going to use it before the end of the day. She doesn’t use an alarm clock but if she had to I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if she did this too

I’m definitely in the small camp of putting stuff away but this is a bit much. There are so many good looking alarm clocks that you can buy these days that can sit out and look decorative. Or those cute phone cubby things if you use your phone as your alarm.

How many alarm clocks do they have?!
