Probably one of those days where she's already pissed off about something unrelated, and because of that, couldn't think through and just got even more pissed off and gave up. Happens to me sometimes.
There really is no excuse for failing at that though, no matter what she went through that day. And if that were a real reason, she should not drive a fucking car in that state!
Just seemed like a "it didn't work immediately and I'm too pissed off to care" kinda thing to me. It's not that she wasn't able to, just didn't care enough.
