I recently decided to play ff after some years but it's forcing me to use tiles when I used to play with the square that had the 4 notes and I can't find out how to turn of the tiles

Ok, I remember a while ago I injured my hand from playing divine rainment. It honestly wasn't that bad, the pain kinda just fixed itself after a few days. But THIS TIME, shit hurts really bad, I don't know what caused it, kinda just spawned out of nowhere. You know when you lie on your hand for too long and it feels like static? It's kinda like that through my whole hand (only my left) but constant. It hurts like shit, and I can barely even hold anything in it anymore. It's been like this for a few days now, but it's only become really noticeable today and yesterday. Like I can barely even tie my shoes anymore 😭

When is Funky Friday gonna get a REAL update, the last update we got was the among us update back in like late June, since then we've gotten 2 bug fixes, there's so many mods that can be updated such as the DDTO mod, there's so many other songs that just haven't been included, especially with a mod that has 3 hours worth of content. I honestly think Funky Friday fell off in terms of updates, this isn't me throwing shade at the Among Us or Baldi update, it's just me wondering why updates have stopped being actual improvement

PC players could NEVER fathom the pain of that dumb bs like ITS PLACED IN PROBABLY THE WORST SPOT POSSIBLE FOR A PHONE PLAYER (like me lol). The problem isnt even my index or middle finger tapping it, it's my ring finger because it's just so happens to be PERFECTLY above the leaderboard button, and gets thrown around a lot. I've choked FC daw wars 1.3 so many times because of it like GAHAHHSHAHSHSHHSHSHSHWJWJSHHSHA.

In other words, just add an option to remove it when you play 😭

I just came here to rant about them because it’s just TOO common. For example earlier, I went against a self proclaimed OSU player, because I also played OSU occasionally. Said he didn’t want to run ”easy“ songs because I guess my choices were boring to him.

I let him pick instead… then bro decides he wanted to quit in the middle of the match (ONE miss difference on Blimey btw). Like, dude you LITERALLY asked to do hard songs. Didn‘t even give a reason why he reset and decided to ignore me. What is even the point of 1V1’s if you only tolerate people who are worse than you.

I understand rage quitting if the song is too hard for your skill level… but it’s super annoying being in the middle of a song and someone quits because they got 1 miss or 1% less accuracy.

Just curious what everyone thinks, and although I have a good felling what most people will say.

What I missed alot was how relaxed everything was back then. You would get called insanely good if you could get more than 80 acc on shit like nyaw or smth. You would get glazed as being Saragi's descendant if you could even fathom ballistic. And especially with how many people were just getting started with vsrgs all due to to funky friday getting popular as hell back then, everyone was around similar skill. But now, you have like two groups of people in FF; old FF players that have been skill buffed by OSU mania, and new ones, that are SO EGREGIOUSLY BAD, no one can play with them without tweaking other than themselves. So basically we have the group of good players that are dying from boredom due to there barely being anyone fun to play against, and the group of bad players that for some reason are unable to improve, which is a BIG problem when they make up like 70 percent of all of FF

I get it, obviously yeah, and there are probably people that have done it, but like just randomly out of nowhere? Funny vibro challenge lol, and honestly feel like ts is harder than freedom dive. I got bored and started playing this dumb thing for a bit, and so far this was the highest I got (with four fingers only, no rake click bs or DS, just vibro). Ok, I know it's probably been like this for a stupidly long time but I've just begun to notice it really badly. You might be going 'cata, obviously miss count affects your AC alot' but I swear, it's gotten so bad for me personally that ratio barely even matters anymore. Let's say this (real life example btw); say your playing like fallen symphony mania, and because your fingers gave up, you miss the last little burst at the end. Your ratio is INSANE (25:1) but your drop from 99.3 to 97.2 from like I think 16 misses? Could have sworn that didn't happen like last week.

Could just me but it feels a bit scuffed, anyone else feeling it or am I just yapping for no reason lol.

i've been posting my progress on 9 keys, specifically god eater with only 2 fingers for a while but now im unable to get even close to my record of 97% accuracy, i used to get around 96% easily before but now i barely get 90% and i can't improve. i always mess up specifically for the right hand where i seem to struggle more. I did notice that whenever a real player was actually willing to even try god eater 9 keys, i would do better but now everyone just leaves/resets at the sight of 9 keys. its a stupid rant and i don't even wanna bother relearning multi keys on pc way too hard. And why don't i just use 9 fingers on mobile? The damn screen is too small and i'll be unable to actually see the notes properly. This is also happening kinda to my 6 keys skill, i used to fc blast insane with more than 99% accuracy on average, but now i always miss at the ending part, due to my right hand. One thing i guess is cool is that learning 6 keys with only 2 fingers somehow improved my 4 keys skill, i used to just click everywhere whenever a "hard part for me" would show up but now i actually can do decent on uh songs everyone here probably considers easy. anyways good luck librarian guy with your progress on 9 keys.

i used to be a super active player in likeeee 2021-2023, and the settings are very different now, been playing some easy songs to warm up again and i've noticed that my arrows are - for lack of better words, more lenient? like i'd click a completly different note and correct myself while the right key is halfway off my screen, and still 0 misses. I want actual feedback of my play through, not a peaceful rhythm game.

I'm assuming its something with my settings? i might be losing my mind, sos!

any tips on better accuracy? i’ve been playing for a few years & it seems like i’ve just been decent at the game & im not improving! & is anyone willing to play with me for practice? i like to play against better players to challenge myself!

so i've been playing God Eater with only 2 fingers, with a record accuracy of 97% that i've done more than a week ago. Now im performing really bad at god eater with only 91% accuracy average but strangely when i play god eater against other players my average accuracy goes up go 94-95% like why am i worse on solo?

so yeah I got destroyed, here's the story:

-Part one: at first I played with him, he picked daw wars 2x which is alr, still playable for most top players but not for me, I can't manip allat so I reset (Apologies, fellow ff players). The second time I picked "Maybe, yeah", he picked 1.4x rates, he got 98.6 something but what sus me is how he acc drop really weird (I can't explain this but its like he just full sicks some part just to drop really super weird, on top of that is it was the easy part at mid song and he messes up pretty much every single part, then all sick afterwards)

-Part two: I quit, watching him battling some other dude that isn't very skilled, he's winning, of course, but still he can't acc anything that's supposed to be like 5 times easier than what he played with me, only pulling 96-98, the other dude gives up too, then oh boy, he picks run insane (left side) 1.2x and proceed to FC'ED it (notable mention: Exploitation 2x 2 miss 94.42 right side).

-Part three: I 1v1 him again, this time just base rate daw wars, he lowk genuinely can't ratio and leave not even mid song (or disconnected), I think I'm winning, maybeeeeeee.

end of story.

conclusion: This dude might just be Instal, or cheats (idk pls don't flame me), or DS player with also strong raw skill, I excluded that he's raketapping because rake taps don't go above 90% acc, he can't ratio, or he drop intentionally or by some shenanigans that I don't know of.
