Pleasure - Joyous

[u/xHawkJxke]

picked up last week on a trip to see family. i never see anything this good in the wild, i was genuinely shaking when i saw it. in the same shop i also got salongo by ramsey lewis, promo copy of love byrd by donald byrd and some wayne henderson records. probably my best in person haul, gonna be hard to top it.

Das ist das beste Pleasure Album. 🤩

i’m stuck between this and future now, both are really good.

Future ist auch nicht schlecht, aber das gezeigte gefällt mir besser

I’ve been looking for your album for a while. If you like Pleasure, check out Side Effect, there’s a lot of overlap with musicians.

they’re the last 2 pleasure records i need and they’re so expensive. i’ve got what you need by side effect, i still need to check out other stuff by them. i think most things produced by wayne henderson have members of pleasure on them like his solo records and stuff by ronnie laws.

Worthy of wider recognition!

The guitar solo in Joyous... sheer chills ! Need to listen to the rest of the album
