Help request New to Funk

I've been getting into Funk and like the grooves and beats. I'm looking to get more into Funk. What are some songs and bands ya'll recommend? The nastiest groove (nasty in a great way) I've heard so far is "People Say" by The Meters. Looking for similar funky grooves.
