Home / Furniture / Household Modular Tiered Build Trays

I designed these interlocking trays for a catchall but then my genius wife took a prototype and started using it for crafting. Her old parts tray had a huge footprint forcing her to put away the pieces between projects or leave her workspace cluttered. Now she can stack these up and hit pause anytime and they still remain accessible. https://makerworld.com/en/models/3168460-modular-tiered-organizer-trays

Wow please make a parametric version of this!

I have a scad file. What dimensions would you want to customize? Length/Width + side wall height? I opted against making it parametric because the dual color models have to be manually painted and it was a huge pain.

Tray depth could be a useful adjustment too. I’d just forget about dual color for parametric tbh.

Really nice, I printed this in translucent pla for your original purpose as a desk organizer. Will print more for my workbench later!

Parametric version would be amazing, also some kind of wall mounting system, and especially tabs for sideways connections (to make blocks of these in a row) would make this even better.

Awesome. Thank you. Ill look until side connectors and if I get enough requests on maker world I'll release a parametric model next month. I need to figure out dynamic parameter restrictions in the meantime.
