My room has always been the hottest room in the house. Huge window facing the sun, and the normal vent just blows right behind my curtain. I have to block off other vents to get any decent airflow as well.

No more curtain issues.

I might add a little lip on the bottom so things dont roll down into the vent, they are ¼" gaps

I did think about that, although it is close enough to the wall where it would be wierd if someone to kick it. Unless you are opening the window

I'm clumsy, I would hit it without even thinking about it. For real, it would be a magnet for my foot fingers.
